It was awarded for minor campaigns that took place in tropical Africa between 1900 and 1956, with a total of forty five \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.m.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Medal_bar\" title=\"Medal bar\"\u003eclasps\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan\u003e issued.
