The Crimea Medal awarded to participants in the most famous actions of the war – the Thin Red Line (93rd Foot) and the Charge of the Light and Heavey Brigades – rate a very high premium.
On the obverse, Wyon profile of Queen Victoria. On the reverse, a Roman soldier, armed with circular shield and short sword, being crowned by a flying Victory.
Ribbon is pale blue with yellow edges.
