India Mutiny Medal 1857-1858
Full size medal - Unmounted with 15cm ribbon as required for swing mounting.
Miniature size medal - Unmounted with 10cm ribbon as required for swing mounting.
Instituted in 1858. This medal was awarded to troops who took part in operations to quell the Sepoy mutiny which had been the immediate cause of the uprising.
